Nice hotel within easy walking distance of Dealey Plaza & Reunion Tower, & bars/restaurants along Commerce St & neighbourhood. Room was spacious with kitchen area, including sink, microwave & fridge, & coffee maker. Clean & comfortable also. We had booked 2 rooms - in 1 of them the bathroom mirror had somehow smashed ahead of us checking in- was immediately sorted out by reception. Free breakfast included with our stay- fruit, pastries, cereal, yogurt etc- set us up for the day ahead. One downside is that the hotel is valet parking only- whilst this isn't an issue as such, the valet was unable to accept my car as (travelling from the UK) I did not have a US cell/mobile number- this meant that I had to park elsewhere, at an open/private lot behind the hotel. This was about $15/12 hours & also presented a security risk having to leave the car there overnight.

So this happened. Our bag got stolen from our hotel room on the first night. Passports, wallets, laptop, all taken. And we were traveling with our kids. Our stay at this hotel was a total nightmare. My wife and 2 boys (an infant and a toddler) decided to travel to Dallas for a conference. Traveling with young kids is stressful enough, but having our bag stolen, from our hotel room, was a total nightmare and disaster. It happened an hour after we checked in. We were away from home, without any proper IDs in Texas for a week. We are still dealing with the potential of Identity theft and recovering our passports and IDs. It’s been a few months since our luggage got stolen, and we still have heard nothing from corporate mariott. The hotel General manager has been helpful and seemed genuinely sorry for what has happened. However, the whole case went to their property liability insurance, and communication with them has been terrible. Their lead adjuster pretty much ghosted us. It’s been a few months since this theft, and we still have not been compensated for our loss. I would never stay here again. And shame on Mariott for not doing better.

Wow. Nice, clean and well run location. Front desk personnel excellent. I had a problem with my reservation and Constance was able to help me...rather than me cancelling and going somewhere else. I am so glad she did. What a gem. Centrally located and was able to enjoy the city.

I am extremely disappointed by the condition of my room (1801) and the failure of the hotel room do anything to accommodate me. When I reached my room there was a work cart blocking the door. A maintenance worker came out and apologized and told me he had completed his tasks. When I walked into the bedroom the first thing I noticed was a bulb and two screws on one night stand and two screws on the other night stand. I called downstairs and was told someone would be up soon. In the meantime, I went into the bathroom and was surprised when I could not close the massive sliding door. It was off it's track! When maintenance arrived ai pointed out the mess in my bedroom and the bathroom door. I was asked how long I was staying and inormed him that I was there for one night. As I departed he told me he would repair the door and reassemble the lamps next to my bed. When I returned to my room nearly six hours later, one lamp was fixed but the bulb and screws were still there! Additionally, the bathroom door still did not close! Lastly, the next morning as I stood in the bathroom mirror I noticed hair in the sink! How gross!

Please refrain from remaining here! I've encountered persistent internet issues throughout my three-night business stay. Despite reaching out to the help desk for assistance, the problem remained unresolved. To my dismay, I was billed $50 plus tax for the call made to the help desk. This experience is unprecedented for me in any previous hotel stays. It's utterly frustrating, prompting me to leave this review, which is not something I typically do.
